The Mission

Purpose

The Dairy Protein Institute was created to accelerate the commercialization of dairy-based innovation and ensure the value of that innovation flows back to the farmers who make it possible. We exist to connect ideas with opportunity, bridge science and industry, and build a more resilient, equitable future for dairy.

Dairy is rich with potential—nutritional, functional, and bioactive—but many promising ideas never reach the market.

Why We Exist

Barriers between research, entrepreneurship, and industry leave opportunities unrealized, and the value created by innovation too often bypasses producers.
